Clipsmith is a video editing and publishing tool for creators. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not, and what happens to the social accounts you connect.
Your video files stay on your own computer. Clipsmith renders locally through an agent you install, so raw footage and finished videos are never uploaded to us. What reaches our servers is the information needed to run your account and your job queue.

When you connect a social account, that platform gives Clipsmith an access token. We store it so we can publish the posts you schedule.
TikTok. Content you publish through Clipsmith to TikTok is handled under the TikTok Privacy Policy. Clipsmith's use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to TikTok's Developer Terms of Service, including its limited-use requirements.
Google and YouTube. Clipsmith's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Clipsmith's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page.
Account and job data is kept while your account is open. Delete your account and we remove your personal data and all stored access tokens. Anonymised, aggregate usage counts may be retained so we can understand overall load on the service.
We share personal data with no one, except the service providers needed to operate Clipsmith — hosting, and payment processing for paid plans. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We will disclose data if required by law.
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
