These terms cover your use of Clipsmith, a video editing and publishing tool for creators. Using the service means you accept them.
Clipsmith turns your raw footage into finished short-form video and publishes it to the social accounts you connect, on a schedule you set. It runs as a hosted web app plus an agent you install on your own computer. The agent does the rendering locally; your media stays on your machine.
You keep all rights to the footage you edit and the videos you publish. Clipsmith claims no ownership of your content and no licence to use it beyond what is needed to provide the service you asked for.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and publish, including any music, footage, likeness or trademark it contains.
Do not use Clipsmith to publish content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, that harasses or impersonates, or that breaches the rules of a connected platform. Do not use it to operate accounts you are not authorised to operate, and do not attempt to interfere with the service or access other users' data.
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
We work to keep Clipsmith running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Rendering depends on a computer you control, and publishing depends on platforms we do not control. Neither is something we can promise on your behalf.
Clipsmith is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost reach, lost revenue or lost opportunity arising from a post that failed to publish, published late, or was removed by a platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can. On closure we delete your personal data and any stored access tokens, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect.
